Caring for the Community
Arthur Garcia’s background in the medical field has carried over into his public service activities with the Miami Dade Justice Association and the Jackson Memorial Hospital Pediatric Care Unit. The Kindness in Daily Service (K.I.D.S.) program brings toys, entertainment and companionship for children hospitalized with a variety of serious medical problems. Teddy Bears, like the one seen above, are sold by the Miami Dade Justice Association to raise funds for this important community program.
The Community Partnership for the Homeless provides fresh, hot meals for the least fortunate of our fellow citizens. Arthur Garcia and other members of the Miami Dade Justice Association lend eager helping hands to CPH’s efforts.

Love and hope is expressed most purely through the unselfish acts of kids. On Thursday, December 13, 2007, through their hard work and love, by opening their hearts to the needs of the less fortunate, the fourth grade students of Kensington Park Elementary School gave of themselves, to their own, other KIDS and displayed that pure love and hope of the season. With the guidance and support of their teacher, Ms. Lissett Muniz, the fourth grade students in the weeks leading up to the 2007 Holiday Season collected books and toys, including many of their own so children less fortunate could enjoy their holidays too, with gifts of books to read and toys to play with.
On behalf of the kids at Jackson Memorial/Holtz Children’s Hospital and those that spent their Holidays at the Community Partnership for the Homeless, we thank teacher Lissett Muniz for her leadership and the important lesson she shared with us all. To the fourth graders; thank you for sharing your own books and toys so other kids can enjoy them too, you did a good thing. Through your hard work we were able to deliver over 250 books and toys to children in the hospital and homeless shelter.
On 09.09.08 the law offices of Arthur Garcia Jr. P.A. accompanied by firm staff and friends sponsored and served dinner at the community partnership for homeless at 1550 No Miami Avenue. Dinner was prepped and over 400 people were served chicken, salad, potatoes, fruit, juice and milk - more than 100 children included.
"It is a duty and our privilege to serve the members of our community. We are looking forward to another trip to CPHI." Art Garcia Jr.
